APRIL 2003
oh what a weekend... i want to quit school now. the pvd concert/rave friday night was absolutely amazing - i love that man. me and em got his autograph, and now i want to marry him, even though he's already taken. i can't even begin to describe how incredible he was, so i won't even try. we ended up kicking off our shoes and dancing for hours nonstop - talk about a good workout. sooo... besides a few wrong turns on the way to san diego and driving past a past of stinky cows, we made it there alive, and even got to stay @ this nice house newly built by one of emily's dsp alumni friends. it was nice - we felt like were on vacation. now i really want to be filthy rich so i can have a house like that.
so i spent half of saturday recuperating... picked rosa and her friend sandra up from the hilton yesterday and went to dinner at christine's, which would have been a really nice restaurant had it not been caucasian geriatric day there. we (as in me, rosa, sandra and lynn-the-pushover) went to magic mtn today despite the rain - actually, we had no choice cuz it didn't start pouring UNTIL after we bought the non-refundable tickets. all in all, it was a great trip, cuz we got to go on most of the good rides - the lines were like 10 minutes long, and we killed time by playing cards, which i conveniently had in my bag. we got completely soaked and TORN UP by the rain though, especially on batman (rosa: "OWW my eyes!!") but it was actually a lot of fun - i gotta say that X is just plain crazy - i could hardly speak after i got off, that's how good it was. goliath in the rain was good too, but painful - we couldn't even really see or look up cuz it was pouring. watch, we're all gonna catch pneumonia tomorrow. but it was definitely worth it.
we also went to margarita monday at acapulco earlier this week - a buck seventy five! you really can't beat that price - we went through twelve of them, and our bar tab was still under twenty-five. all of us were 21 except for eunice, whom we snuck in using lynn's ID (even though lynn had just walked in five min earlier) - which just goes to show you that to non-asians, all asians really do look alike. anyway, i got carded three times. which is a relief but slightly insulting - is 3 times really necessary?
