DAILY UPDATE

12:18 AM 6/21/2011

wow, two months since i last updated. sometimes i wonder if i should just take this entire blog down. of course, that would deprive you all of my awesome rants so i guess i will just have to find the strength within to carry on. anyways, since i have been a complete deadbeat since mid april, let me try to summarize everything that has happened since then. it's pretty boring, so i apologize in advance. here we go:

-my sister came out to visit me.
-erin and brandon came out to DC for a visit as well.
-i got to go to supreme court and sit in on an lecture less than 50 feet away from justice ginsberg.
-i finally got my VA driver's license. i look like a refugee from [insert third world southeast asian country here] in my picture.
-jack came for memorial day weekend. it was insanely hot. he bought me a new gun. it is BAD ASS!
-i went back to LA a few weekends ago for lynn's shower.
-i got sent to cincinnati and glasgow, kentucky for work and had to drive for hours and hours through nothing but farmland. my GPS died on me twice. @#%(*&!
-i made a brief detour to the grand ole opry in nashville. i felt out of place. probably because i was.
-i also got sent to orlando for work last week and got to stay at the animal kingdom lodge. it would have been kinda cool had i not been there to present with a panel on a topic that i knew nothing about.
-EY hired the lead singer of Train (yeah, as in heeyyyy soullll sister, ain't that misssster mister on the radio) to come perform for our dinner event. random.
-the day after i got back from orlando, i spent 20 minutes crying in the office bathroom and then another 20 minutes crying on the phone to jack. note to EY: never ask lowly managers to present to partners. it is a highly traumatic experience.

all right that's about all i can think of for now. told you it was boring. now here are some pictures:
