MAY 07 ARCHIVES 10:05 PM 5/10/2007
sorry about the lack of updates, i've been busy flying out of different TX airports. i woke up tuesday morning in my hotel room in dallas and momentarily forgot what city i was in. for a second i was convinced i was in phoenix.

GODZILLA!!! xoxo to the fabulous artist who drew the picture on my mirror using a bar of soap. :)

once again, i'm having a hard time coming up with an update. someting exciting needs to happen in my life so i can write about it. or i just need to be more creative and make up a ridiculous story that still sounds somewhat believable.
so. what to write. oh, i know, i'll share the results of yet another dumb online quiz i just took. check it out:
| What type of person do you attract? Your Result: You attract geeks! Your stunning intellect and love of sci-fi and video games allures the geeks like nothing else. Maybe it is the sparkle in your eye that makes them want to text you, who knows. Geeks make good partners, but tend to be arguementative. If you are a TRUE geek magnet, you will know if that was spelled correctly, and actually care. If it is a bad-boy/bad-girl you are seeking, you are barking up the wrong tree, unless they are just 'bad' behind a PS2 console. | | You attract Yuppies! | | | You attract models! | | | You attract artsy people! | | | You attract unstable people! | | | You attract rednecks! | | What type of person do you attract? Quizzes for MySpace |
well, now that's just....sad. i'm gonna have to call BS on this one because i have plenty of geeky guy friends who aren't attracted to me. btw, "argumentative" WAS spelled incorrectly. and dammit, i DID care. but all that means is i'm a geek myself, not necessarily a geek magnet, right? (uh, yeah, because that's so much better...)
anyways, it's time for me to go rip out my contacts and put on my RPGs (rape prevention glasses, not role playing games, you dorks) before my eyeballs completely fall out of my head. and just out of curiosity, how many of you geeks out there got turned on at the mention of my nerdy glasses? jack, put your hand down. haha. oh man, i'm doomed. have a fabulous week, everybody!

how is it possible we're almost halfway through 2007? why haven't i won the lottery yet? i am so ready to become an instant millionaire and quit my job. like NOW. anyways, my cousin melody graduated from cal state fullerton (uh, go tritons?) so i spent most of sunday morning freezing my butt off, sitting through ridiculously boring commencement speeches and taking random pictures of my family members.

i like how everybody's laughing here except for my dad, who looks all spaced out.

the hello kitty balloon i bought for melody. SO CUTE! i had to buckle her down because she kept floating around in the car.

this is what my hair looks like when i wake up late and don't have time to blow dry it properly.

me and nick. and hello kitty, of course.

i have no clever caption for this. we must have taken a billion pictures with this balloon.

my crazy family!
afterwards we went to dim sum for lunch...so good, i ingested an entire week's worth of sodium in one sitting. met up with lynn and keri for pinkberry in PV around six, and then hauled ass back down the mountain to make it to dinner with my family at gaja, where we had way too much okonomiyaki. i sat with my cousins, who made perfect little pancakes, unlike my parents and aunts, who apparently didn't read the instructions and end up tossing all the ingredients together to make a stir-fried mess. it ended up looking like hash browns that somebody had barfed back up. i also had dessert there, which was to die for. the japanese might be a kinky bunch of sick freaks in the bedroom, but man, can they cook (lynn can second that). anyhow, after this past weekend, i never want to eat again. i mean it.
dude, who am i kidding - it's dinner time, i gotta go. haha. update more later. xoxo. :)

Thanks...
happy memorial day weekend. i spent most of friday and part of saturday helping lynn house/dog-sit in long beach. diggler the golden retriever was super cute but nearly pulled my arms off during our walk to the dog park 2 miles away. i love big dogs, but i guess i can sorta see the appeal of smaller dogs - you never have to worry about getting rope burn from a leash. anyways, the place we were house-sitting was right on the beach - i could hear the waves crashing from the living room. it was awesome. lynn made me watch you've got mail around eleven (apparently i'm the last female in the US who hasn't seen it) and the last scene made me cry, even though i thought it was pretty lame. these dumb meg ryan flicks are so retarded, i swear.

meet diggler! all five hundred pounds of him...
anyways, that's pretty much it...hit up neiman marcus and saks fifth avenue today and bought a fendi bag for my mom. just warming up for the chanel bag i'm gonna buy in a few months. uh, after i win the lotto, of course. now i gotta do some work, so i'm gonna sign off now. hope everybody had a great weekend!
